What We Offer
Safe & Secure
The village is nestled in a safe and secure environment, offering 24-hour security, with gate control, electrified perimeter fencing, cameras and electronic beams. Access to the village is through the property of the Club which has its own level of security. In addition, an emergency response system has been installed in each cottage and is linked directly to the Emergency Call Centre at Rand Aid Association.
Life Rights

Nursing & Frail Care
A registered nursing sister is available in the village clinic twice a week to assist residents with:
- Wound care and cleaning
- Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring
- General health checks
- Injections and medication assistance

Monitoring of edema (swelling)

Support with any other health concerns
In addition to clinic visits, our nursing sister also checks in on residents weekly to provide ongoing care and support.
For those in need of frail care or recuperative care, this service has been outsourced to the nearby Rand Aid Ron Smith Care Centre, situated in the tranquil grounds of Elphin Lodge in Lyndhurst. Each unit is allocated 24 days recuperative care per year at the Ron Smith Care Centre or an acceptable alternative facility if needed.
Medical Response
Medi Response specializes in providing comprehensive site-based medical services. Our value proposition includes a range of services that are designed to ensure your safety and wellbeing, as well as the efficient emergency services.
Units
We have 46 units of various sizes. All our units have face brick exteriors and modern interiors: a motorised garage door with remote control, leading into the unit; solar assisted geysers; pre-paid electricity meters, a shared DSTV satellite dish and fibre connections.

Solar
All units have solar assisted geysers. The admin and security offices and systems are solar powered and the streets are illuminated with solar power lights.

Quondam Village is pet friendly subject to certain conditions – no big dogs allowed.
